Dog Training
We believe that all pets have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Our positive approach to training is centered around the question, "what do you want your dog to do"? By answering this question, training can focus on reinforcing these desired behaviors. We are committed to working with the client to determine the least invasive intervention to achieve the desired training or behavior change.
Our service area for in-home training includes St. James, Crestview, Westwood, Headingley, Charleswood, Ridgewood West, Tuxedo and River Heights. There may be an additional fee for clients outside this service area.

Puppy Training
$100/60 minutes
Proper socialization is critical in ensuring that a dog interacts appropriately with other dogs and people. To receive the full benefits, your puppy’s socialization should be fully explored before the age of 16 weeks. For this reason, we suggest starting training as soon as you bring your puppy home. Sessions are done in your home so you don't have to wait for your puppy to finish their vaccinations. Making the right connections at the right age in right environment will set your puppy up for success. Topics may include puppy development, socialization, house training, crate training, handling, bite inhibition and basic commands. This service is available for puppies up to 5 months old.
Behaviour Consults
$50/30 minutes
A behaviour consult will give you the tools you need to kick start your dog's training without having to leave your couch. You will meet one-on-one with a trainer over a virtual platform. Each session will be customized to your dog's specific needs which allows most behavioural concerns to be addressed with this training method. The sessions are convenient and affordable which saves you time and money. Topics may include excessive barking, digging, jumping up, resource guarding and separation anxiety. This service is available for dogs of all ages.
Basic Obedience Training
$120/60 minutes
Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Obedience sessions focus on teaching the fundamentals and creating a lasting bond between the owner and dog. Sessions take place in your home so your dog can focus on learning with minimal distractions. This service is ideal for newly adopted dogs, dogs that need a refresher on basic commands or dogs that need improvement with leash manners. For dogs who require behaviour modification, please refer to our behaviour consults.
