Ashley really helped me work towards improving my 5 month old Frenchie's puppy manners. I personally got this valuable package to work on Rollo's loose leash walking, recall, and basic commands such as "down", "turn", "sit", and many more! Rollo has improved dramatically compared to how he was when we first started.

From our 1st visit to Fido & Friends, I knew the care provided by Ashley in her home would be a great fit for our little Maltipoo, Lucy! I was very reassured that Lucy would be well looked after, due to Ashley's excellent selection process, and would be in the company of great new friends.
Ashley is loving, gentle and caring, very attentive to our Lulu's needs, yet firm with expecting proper behaviour from our pup. The care and cozy space inside and outside her home obviously made our picky (and sometimes strong-willed) Lulu feel very comfortable during her recent week-long stay at Fido & Friends — her new home away from home! Frequent daily photos and videos of Lulu having so much fun playing, and/or just "hanging" with and napping beside her new friends, brought smiles to our faces and warmth to our hearts! To receive frequent updates on little Lucy's personal progress for her first time away from home was so comforting and certainly made for a worry-free vacation!! It was obviously a great experience for Lulu as she gets so excited when we come back for even just for an afternoon of play with the other wonderful dogs in Ashley's care!

Ashley from Fido and Friends is a fantastic pet sitter who is so loving, caring and attentive with our sweet little Milo. He has allergy issues and is very picky about his sleep habits and she is so attentive and flexible with his pickiness to ensure he is comfortable and feels loved. We are very lucky to have found her, even though we live half an hour away — we never have a problem making the trip to bring him there. He always comes home happy and very well taken care of! Ashley took care of our labradoodle Finn while we were away for 2 weeks visiting family. We didn't feel comfortable leaving Finn in a pet hotel where we felt it would be too stressful and stimulating with so many other dogs for that period of time so Ashley's in-home setup was perfect. We did an afternoon and overnight trial stay to acclimate Finn who can be nervous in new situations, but from her second visit on Finn was enthusiastic about visiting Ashley so we knew she was comfortable. While we were away Ashley sent us regular pictures and short videos of Finn having a great time either on her own or with her co-boarders. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommending!

We have an 11 week old male Siberian Husky that is so sweet and loving but he liked to bite, scratch and jump up on us a little too much. After doing a whole lot of research trying to find a solution that would work for us due to Covid, we stumbled upon Fido and Friends. I am so happy we did. After our first zoom session with Ashley, we noticed a huge difference in our pups behavior. We learned just as much if not more than he did and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We love that the training is based on positive reinforcement and its tailored specifically for our dogs needs. She is very realistic in expectations and provides follow-up emails so that you don't forget your "homework". I cant wait to continue the work with our fur baby and see his progress! If you're looking for a professional trainer that's affordable and fun, this is it.

Ashley is wonderful! She made us feel at ease when we dropped our dog off for the week. She communicated with us and sent us updates and pictures/videos of our pup while we were away! Overall great experience, highly recommend!

We have been very pleased with the care our dog has received from Ashley during his first two stays and we have just booked out next trip! It is great to have someone that is so caring, knowledgeable and dependable along with that very special understanding of the unique needs a small dog requires....like shorter, more frequent outside time, and lots of cuddles. With each stay we have received regular updates and Olaf really looks like he is one of the family. Ashley's online training sessions have been a game changer for our family! Ashley has been helping us with puppy training for skills like walking on-leash, brain games, puppy manners and potty training. Even though the pandemic restrictions necessitated a move to online training sessions, Ashley's knowledge and skills as a dog trainer allow her to provide online sessions that are filled with helpful insights and practical strategies that allow us to make ongoing progress with our puppy! Whether in person or online, Ashley is excellent at what she does! She is Winnipeg's own dog whisperer!

We have been using Fido and Friends as our go-to dog sitter when we go on holidays. Arthur has stayed with Ashley and Adrian for as little as 3 nights and as long as over 2 weeks! We cannot say how much we appreciate the care and attention we know Arthur gets when he stays! We constantly get pictures and video updates which of course makes us happy to see him having so much fun! We know he's exercised and cuddled and feels at home there. I cannot say enough good things about Ashley. She was extremely thorough in her application and vetting process and available to answer all of my questions. I appreciated the trial overnight and meet and greet prior to taking Wrigley on as a client. She sent lots of updates, photos and videos while we were away so we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing Wrigley was having fun with other dogs in a home environment.
